Biology Student Worker - 2023-2024 | BSU & NTC On-Campus Student Employment

I am looking to hire 1 to 4 students to assist in the Biology Department starting Fall 2023.

General tasks will include the following:

Microbiology Prep

Office Assistance with data entry, word documents, printing

Plant care in the greenhouse

Care for our fish, and aquarium cleaning

Helping to organize and rearrange lab spaces

General cleaning

Some computer work with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Other tasks as assigned.

We have two dedicated openings: one for a student to assist in our microbiology prep lab, and the other position to assist in the Cellular and Molecular Lab area. I am also looking for a working to assist in the greenhouse, this is a work-study only position.

You do not necessarily need to be a Biology Major to apply. These positions average about 10 hours a week. Flexibility in days and times worked. Monday-Friday during the day (8 am to 5 pm).
